#Who we are

KC Tech Trades (“we,” “us”) offers job coaching for people who want work they love. Kansas City roots, open to job seekers nationwide. Any experience level and any kind of job. The service is for people 18 and older. Operated by One Day Systems LLC. A person reviews every signup before coaching begins. Contact: [email protected]. Website: https://kctechtrades.com.

#What this covers

This policy describes how we handle personal information when you use our website, sign up for coaching, email us, or take part in coaching emails and introductions. This site does not run a public account portal.

#Information we collect

You give us

• Coaching signup (optional name; required email, where you live or commute, where you are in your career, “about you / job target”; optional resume file; optional how you heard about us)
• Emails you send us (replies to coaching notes, steering notes, resumes shared by you or by someone helping you, with your knowledge)
• Introduction preferences (whether you opt in to being introduced to an employer)

Collected automatically

• Basic web/server logs and security telemetry from our host (Cloudflare) — e.g. IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps — for security and reliability
• Coaching emails may include one-tap links to update your status or preferences; these record only that choice
• We do not run advertising trackers or sell data to ad networks

#How we use information

• Review signups and decide whether to onboard coaching
• Send coaching emails, hunt tips, and related replies
• Look for openings that fit what you asked for and, only with your opt-in, make a short introduction
• Operate, secure, and improve the site and coaching workflow
• Comply with law or respond to valid legal requests

We do not sell your personal information or seeker lists. We do not scrape LinkedIn/Indeed or automate DMs on those platforms.

#How we share information

We share personal information only when needed to run the service:

• Service providers that process data for us (today: Google/Gmail for inbound/outbound coaching mail; Cloudflare for hosting). We share data with them only so they can provide their service to us. Their own terms and privacy policies also apply.
• Someone you asked to be introduced to — only the minimum needed for that introduction after you opt in
• Legal / safety — if required by law or to protect rights, safety, or the service

Someone who emails us on another person’s behalf (a parent, friend, or teacher) should only share what that person has agreed to share.

#Introductions and consent

We do not mass-send resumes. An introduction happens only after you clearly opt in for that introduction. If someone else is helping you, they need your knowledge too.

#Retention

We keep your information, résumé included, for 24 months after placement or your last activity, whichever is later, unless you re-up. Last activity includes emails, lead or application changes, and record edits. We then delete the seeker record. We keep anonymous statistics (county, quarter, a wage band, and day buckets), a deletion log of how many rows were removed in each category, and an anonymous note that the record was deleted. We also delete the record when you ask.

Signups go straight to our own database, hosted on Cloudflare.

#Security

We keep signup and coaching records in KC Tech Trades’ own secured database, hosted on Cloudflare, with access limited to the KC Tech Trades team.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards (including provider security features). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

#Your choices

Email [email protected] to:

• Access or correct what we have about you
• Ask us to stop coaching emails
• Ask us to delete your signup / coaching file from our mailbox and records (we may keep minimal records if legally required)
• Withdraw consent for introductions going forward

#Children

The service is for people 18 and older, including people early in a career, changing careers, or with years of experience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 submitted data, contact us and we will delete what we hold.

#International note

We operate from the United States and process information there. Our service providers may process it wherever they operate.

#Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change, and for material changes we will post an update on this page (and, when practical, note it in a coaching email).
